Cherry Lyn Beldia asked: In a functionalist perspective, the revival of the Bataan Nuclear Powerplant is practical because it is a remedy for the energy crisis our country is experiencing, it will also generate employment, it will make use of those Filipino nuclear engineers who have gone abroad because there are no industries for their field here and it is foreseen as a factor that will attract more business since there will be no power shortage. On the other hand, the conflict theory views this revival as a threat to the environment, health of the people and attracts corruption.I believe that social change is always accompanied by sacrifices, revolution and mistakes.
