Fall 2006 – Spring 2007 Accomplishments

 

  • Identified stakeholders through 7- county fleet survey turned database
  • Branded Victoria Clean Cities with logos, print materials, website &  marketing campaign
  • Formed lead stakeholder group and held two stakeholder meetings
  • Held first and second Advancing the Choice events and annual luncheon
  • Listened to stakeholders to develop a detailed program plan for submission to the US Department of Energy to gain designation as a Clean Cities coalition that can receive federal assistance and funding on the local level to achieve Victoria Clean Cities program goals and objectives

Fall 2007

 

  • Gain support of all lead stakeholders as program sponsors
  • Get approval of Victoria Clean Cities Detailed Program Plan by the US Department of Energy 

 

 

Winter 2007

 

  •  Develop program initiatives for idle reduction and fuel economy
  • Develop educational component for alternative fuel infrastructure
  • Explore area wide initiative to educate stakeholders, fleets and citizens about using and choosing alternative fuels

 

 

 

Spring 2008

  •  Prepare for second Advancing the Choice event in May 2008
  • Prepare for annual ozone season kickoff luncheon
  • Implement educational programs for alternative fuel infrastructure
  • Partner to build alternative fuel infrastructure
  • Evaluate success of paid stakeholder support program
