Program Objectives

• Develop strategic partnerships with state and local officials, industry and community organizations to achieve program goals
• Support alternative fuel infrastructure in the Victoria area through strategic partnerships
• Increase the use of alternative fuels in the Victoria area through purchasing of AFV vehicles
• Improve health and quality of life for the Victoria area through improved air quality
• Support economic development with regards to alternative fuel consumption and infrastructure through the use of Clean Cities market and technology analysis and tools
• Provide information, education and training to stakeholders that result in program sustainability through the use of Clean Cities tools and information
• Educate decision makers about public policy relating to the use of alternative fuels to reduce dependence on petroleum in the transportation sector, reduce idling, increase the use of blended fuels and increase fuel economy
• Sustain the coalition through financial support to underwrite programs to achieve organizational goals
